PreCast Stairs – Exterior De-Icing
Calorique’s Perfectly Clear Snow and Ice Melting System is designed specifically for PreCast Stairs. Our stair tread and landing heating elements offer Safety Benefits with simple, easy installation. A typical 3 staircase system can keep your steps and landings snow and ice free for just pennies an hour. Perfectly Clear PreCast Stair Heat also helps eliminate the cost and damaging effects caused by salt.
The elements are simply placed in hollow space within the precast stair set and insulation is foamed into place.
Thick insulation below the heating elements dramatically increases the efficiency of the system. A typical three step entry staircase like the one shown below can be kept snow and ice free for pennies per hour. Best of all, during a 5 hour snow storm eliminates the cost and damaging effects caused by salt that a customer would otherwise use.
