Think Green
|

In the USA, green has become more than just a lifestyle,
it 's a part of our every day. Most states have adopted renewable energy goals similar to proven European guidelines to reduce our dependence on oil and gas. Federal government sponsored programs such as EnergyStar, LEED, and other certifications are bringing the future of eco-friendly construction techniques to today's building projects. iQ Radiant Heat products "plug in" to the culture shift towards saving precious resources and saving money.
MAXIMIZE RENEWABLE ENERGY WITH CALORIQUE
Wind, solar and other forms of renewable energy technologies continue to come online in the U.S. every
day. Available in many areas of the country as a primary
or supplemental source of electricity, renewable energy
will continue to flourish - and iQ Radiant Heat by Calorique can plug in to renewable energy sources for maximum efficiency without parasitic losses or waste. |
iQ Radiant Heat by Calorique provides tomorrow's solutions today:
- Ultra Efficient - over 99% of electricity is converted into heat with no parasitic losses.
- Zero Carbon Footprint - iQ Radiant Heat Systems do not burn any fuel to generate heat.
- Rapid Cycle Time - Calorique's unique design provides heating element coverage of over over 84%per panel. More coverage means less heating time.
- Lower Operating Temperatures - Calorique elements only require heat generation of just a few degrees above room temperature.
- Fewer Resources Needed - with no moving parts and decades of durability, Calorique products last longer and require no maintenance. Few, if any additional resources are needed to maintain or replace our products.
A Few facts about AFUE - How Efficient IS That Furnace?
The Department of Energy Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) rating measures the percentage of heat delivered to your home in relation to the amount of fuel consumed by your furnace to generate that heat. EnergyStar Rated furnaces are required to achieve an AFUE of 85% or better - or waste up to 15% of consumed energy - in order to qualify. However, AFUE does not take into account parasitic and idle losses which have been proven to reduce efficiency by up to 25%*. Calorique Primary Radiant Heating Systems operate at greater than 99% efficiency so the energy you use - and pay for - is converted into comfortable heat.
