Heating - Process Temperature Control
Even heat distribution ... with low power consumption
Thermal Shield™ Drum Warmers
 The
Thermal Shield drum warmer offers the most uniform distribution of heat
available - while being the least expensive method to keep 55 gallon
drums of liquid at operating temperatures or protecting them from
freezing.
Thermal Shield drum warmers operate at a low 240
watts, compared to alternative "belts" that use 1000 watts or
more. Our durable, light weight, insulated covering is ideal for indoor
and outdoor use.
Calorique's design, proven over 15 years of Northern
winters, can keep tank contents up to 50°F warmer than the ambient
temperature (delta T).
 Incorporating
an integral insulating layer and durable vinyl outer jacket, the Thermal
Shield's energy is almost entirely directed inward toward the tank's
contents. Almost no heat is dissipated to the atmosphere as with other
methods.
With over 10 square feet of heating area, Thermal
Shield provides far more even heat than is possible with a
"belt" only providing 2 square feet. This results in lower
operating temperatures that can't scorch your liquid.
With the cover in place, our drum warmer reduces the
need for power by providing a completely insulated jacket for your
drum. The cover even has a reinforced bung hole area that can be cut out
if access to the contents is required while the heaters are operating.

When
a 55 gallon drum won't hold all of the liquid you need, step up to
Calorique's Thermolar Tank Warming System.
Built and insulated on site, the Tank
Warming system is custom designed to the exact specifications of
your tank and contents. This ensures the optimum
performance with lowest cost.
Calorique also provides pre-made blanket systems for
tanks and IBCs that are just as convenient to use as our Thermal Shield
drum warmers!
Tanks up to 50,000 gallons and more are warmed
by Thermolar Tank Warming systems at some of the largest manufacturing
facilities throughout the world, and larger tanks can be heated just as
effectively.
